It was morning 11am, I opened my eyelid slowly. Turning my head to the direction of the alarm clock, DAMN IT.... I'm late again. I was suppose to meet my cousin in yishun MRT station at 12pm sharp. I quickly msg him to delay the meeting. I gobble my mee siam and iron my clothes and went to bathe. I rush out of house at about 11.45am. Later, I managed to reach yishun at 12.30pm. We went to orchard to buy some clothes for the upcoming wedding dinner. First we went to Taka. We shop around and none of it catches my eyes. So we went to TANG because my cousin has the voucher. We stop at the Goldlion shop and spent about 2 hours there just to buy cousin's office wear. While he was choosing the clothes, I walk around and found a very nice shirt. Its long sleeves, black coating with red and blue stripes, collared and buttons. The salesgirl asked me to try it on, so I did. It fits me really well. Too bad its the last piece and one of the caft link is lost. The salesgirl said that she can go to the office and get a new one but it would take a few days. Come to think of it, its quite expensive. It cost $71.20 and its already discounted. I like the shirt very much, so I asked the lady to reserve one for me. She will call me on Monday to inform me of the shirt. Later on we went over to AMK to meet up with cousin's mum. We were there early so we walk around the shopping centre. We came to a shop named Natural Project. There is a shirt that looks almost the same as the one we saw in Orchard. Eventually, I bought that shirt after trying it. It cost $69, cheaper than the one in orchard. Later on, we went over to block 603 to order the buffet for Saturday. As for dinner, we walk over to block 608. I finally get a taste of the famous BOTAK JONES western food. The place was really crowded, queue were long. I was wondering how much they earn in just a day. Must be more than $10k a day. The food was served after 30 mins. My fish and chip was such a huge serving. The salad was as if its free. However no one touches that huge scoop of salad as the only person that eats salad were too full to have our serving. Its fries were different from any other fast food restaurant and other western food stall.. It has some spicy flavouring on the fries. We finally finished our food and were very satisfying. We took a taxi back to yishun and my cousin drop me at Yishun MRT station. I took a train home from there.
I wore the shirt when I got home and show it to my dad. He say its nice and I can wear it on next Chinese New Year. When I showed it to my sis, she did not even take a look at it. She just tiao me and say "expensive lor, go away". That seriously dampened my mood.
